SardegnaForeste (Agenzia Forestale Regionale Per Lo sviluppo Del Territorio E Dell Ambiente Della Sardegna)

SardegnaForeste (FoReSTAS) is the regional forestry agency of Sardinia, established by Regional Law No. 8 of April 27, 2016. It succeeded the Ente Foreste della Sardegna and is responsible for the management and protection of public forests, environmental conservation, and the development of sustainable land use practices. The agency operates under the authority of the Regional Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and collaborates with various stakeholders to promote biodiversity, prevent forest fires, and enhance the ecological and economic value of Sardinia's forested areas.
