Institute of Management Studies

Institute for Management Studies Limited (IMSL) is a pulsating limited institute established in 2008, coinciding with the historic coronation of DrukGyalpo Jigme KhesarNamgyalWangchuck and the centenary celebration of monarchy in Bhutan. It is founded by a group of enthusiastic promoters with long years of working experience in government, corporate and private sectors. IMSL was inaugurated formally on April 19, 2009 by His Excellency LyonpoDorjiWangdi, Ministry of Labour and Human Resources. Then, Project Appraisal and Customer Care training programmes, two of the first courses, were launched on April 27, 2009.

Since then, it has contributed in developing the human capacities and human dynamics in the country through its wide range of innovative services that is abreast with the pace of time. IMSL key strengths include Training, Research and consultancy services catering to public and private sectors in the areas of management and strategic planning.

IMS has entrusted itself with the mandate to engage in the development of human resources in the public and private sector agencies. Its development intervention is mainly through training and consultancy services in the field of management.
