INCATEMA CONSULTING is a Spanish consulting and engineering company that has been established in 1994 and that operates both at national and international level. Its expertise is mainly linked to agriculture, rural development, agro-industries, food processing, environment, water and food commercialization infrastructures sectors. But also and at a lesser extent, to fisheries and aquiculture sector.

One of the most distinctive features of INCATEMA is its in-house expertise. Almost all of its employees are agronomic engineers – specialized in agricultural production, rural development, agri-business, rural infrastructures, phytosanitary protocols and food technology (food safety and food security), and veterinaries – specialized in fisheries and aquiculture. This in-house expertise allows INCATEMA to carry out projects requiring high-specialized knowledge and skills. Moreover, the company counts on a vast international and local experts’ network.

The main clients of INCATEMA are public institutions such as national governments and national ministries of agriculture. The company is also very experienced implementing projects financed by international donors: the European Union external aid, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, AECID (Spanish Agency for International Cooperation to Development), amongst others.
