Agencia de Ciencia Competitividad Empresarial e Innovacion Asturiana (Agencia Sekuens)

We are the Asturian Science, Business Competitiveness and Innovation Agency (Sekuens). This is the necessary governmental instrument for the deployment of a modern scientific policy, for the promotion of innovative ecosystems that attract talent and investment, enabling the creation of new companies and research groups. Asturias becomes the first Spanish region to combine the concepts of economic promotion and innovation, without neglecting the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge in all areas, articulating a more effective and efficient administrative organization that allows for the reorganization, strengthening, and financing of the Asturian scientific system in collaboration with the rest of the institutions attached to the Administration of the Principality through the Agency, which will be key in the management of the different programs.
