Udruga Oppidum

Since 2008 Association Oppidum operates in a small rural area of the City of Pleternica, in one of the least developed Croatian counties with the highest unemployment. The primary objectives of the organization are to work with all age groups, especially young people and women, and to work on the development of civil society. Through the years Oppidum did this by educating youth, socializing with young people, organizing concerts and cultural events, encouraging volunteerism and humanitarian work. In recent years, much work has been done on developing partnerships with local civil society organizations. Also on partnership in projects that work with students in high schools and women of all ages. Members of the association are constantly educating itself and the community has already recognized association as a leader in the field of project management, photography, video recording and youth work.
