About

The Association of Employers of BiH was founded on 7 July 2004 as a non-governmental and non-profit organization in order to gain legitimacy in representing the interest of employers and the economy in the conditions of tripartite democratic relations and the creation of civil society institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The members and founders of the AP BiH are the Association of Employers in the FBiH, the Federation of Employers of the RS and the Association of Employers of the District of Brčko.

By forming the Association, employers from across BiH can defend their interests in front of the Council of Ministers of BiH through the mediation of this organization, and, in cooperation with the Trade Union of BiH, to develop economic and social dialogue according to European standards.

Since its foundation, APBiH has actively participated in the establishment of the Economic and Social Council at the state level, and actively participated in the reforms and issues of pension and disability insurance. She participated in the establishment of the Small and Medium Enterprises Support Council, which is working on the implementation of the " Strategy on the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises". She urged the BiH Council of Ministers to establish the Ministry of Economy at the state level.
