Banco Promerica Dominican Republic is a mid-sized commercial bank and a member of the regional Grupo Promerica, which operates in Central America and the Caribbean. Promerica Group is a group of financial institutions linked through the holding company PROMERICA FINANCIAL CORP (PFC), which is led by a multinational team of bankers with in-depth knowledge of the economic and financial activities carried out in each country and in the region as a whole. Its beginnings date back to 1991 in Nicaragua with the establishment of the National Production Bank (BANPRO).
