VARDAN, a non profit, public welfare, development and research oriented organization stands for the holistic development of the unprivileged and poor section of the society. Rural poor are the prime beneficiaries of the organization. Over the past 16 years VARDAN has primarily focused on Capacity Building, Social and Legal Awareness, Natural Resource Management, Livelihood Promotion, Reproductive & Child Health, HIV / AIDS Prevention, Drinking Water & Sanitation and Education of the poor with special focus on remote and backward hill areas of Uttarakhand.
