Veneto Agricoltura - Agenzia Veneta Per l'Innovazione Nel Settore Primario

Veneto Agricoltura, the Veneto Agency for Innovation in the Primary Sector , is an instrumental body of the Veneto Region, which carries out support activities for the Regional Council in the field of policies for the agricultural, agri-food, forestry and fisheries sectors. It conducts applied research and experimentation aimed at testing and disseminating technological and organizational innovations designed to improve the competitiveness of businesses and production chains, as well as environmental sustainability, in the agriculture, agri-food, forestry, and fisheries sectors.

It carries out activities to disseminate and transfer technological, organizational, process, and product innovations to the production system, including quality enhancement and certification processes, also making use of private production facilities representing the various production realities of the regional territory. It works to safeguard and protect native plant and animal biodiversity of agricultural, naturalistic, and fisheries interest, as well as in the management of regional state forestry.
