Thirst Relief International

Thirst Relief International is a non-profit organization that works to provide clean, safe, sustainable drinking water to communities in need around the world. Founded in 2005, the organization has implemented a variety of projects in countries such as Brazil, Tanzania, and Uganda, along with others. We focus on sustainable solutions that can provide long-term access to clean water. Some of the projects implemented include drilling wells, constructing rainwater harvesting systems, and installing BioSand Filter filtration systems in homes, schools and other community centers. In addition to providing clean water, we also works to educate communities about the importance of clean water and how to maintain their water sources as well as sanitation and hygiene practices. Through its efforts, Thirst Relief International has helped to improve the health and well-being of close to 1 Million people in need.
