The Fundación Síndrome de Dravet was established on May 31, 2011. Its origin stems from a group of determined parents who refused to accept the progression of Dravet syndrome, a catastrophic childhood epilepsy that begins during the first year of life and leads to severe neurological consequences. This group of parents chose to fight the disease through research, and in doing so, created the foundation.
