Andilay means "together" in Amharic, and that's how we approach our work supporting development cooperation and humanitarian assistance programming -- together. Together with our colleagues, together with our clients, and together with the people the programs seek to support.

We provide services in capacity development; evaluation; project design and management; research and analysis; safeguarding and financial crime response; as well as system strengthening and organizational change.

Andilay has sectoral and thematic expertise in advocacy; child protection; conflict mitigation and fragile contexts; gender; human rights and protection; migration, refugees, and forced displacement; rule of law; and access to justice.

We have worked in a variety of geographical regions, with a focus on East and Southern Africa (Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe), with additional experience in Central Asia (Tajikistan), South and Southeast Asia (Bangladesh and Indonesia), South America (Bolivia and Peru), and West Africa (Senegal).
