Social Entrepreneurs Union of Agricultural Cooperative - SEUAC

The Social Entrepreneurs Union of Agricultural Cooperative (SEUAC) is Cambodia’s national apex body for agricultural cooperatives, established in 2022 with support from Heifer International Cambodia and officially registered with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF). As of 2025, SEUAC has expanded to 23 agricultural cooperatives and 2 private companies. SEUAC unites, promotes, and strengthens cooperatives by developing agri-enterprises, increasing farm productivity, and leveraging resources to enhance competitiveness. With financial and technical support from Heifer Cambodia, SEUAC has mobilized production forces, expanded agribusiness capabilities, and reduced production costs to ensure sustainable agricultural practices. 

To further its impact, SEUAC is implementing business plans focused on:
1. Vegetables and fruits, including Yellow Flesh Watermelon and Sweet Melon
2. Poultry, covering fattening chicken production and chicken processing plant
3. Credit management models to improve financial access for farmers
4. Agri-store
5. Member services, including compost supply, governance support, and cooperative strengthening
