Cement concrete surfaces are the specialty of Heilit + Woerner Budowlana Sp. z o. o. which was founded in 1993 and since 2005 belongs to the Strabag group. As part of the modernization and expansion of the Polish road network, the company has already completed 4 million m2, and at airports - 500,000. m2. Only in Lower Silesia and Lubuskie, the H + W works are: 130 km of the southern roadway and 70 km of the northern road of the A4 motorway between Wykroty (Bolesławiec poviat) and Wrocław, and about 38 km of the highway and national road No. 18 between Iłowa (Żagań poviat) and Krzyżowa (Bolesławiec poviat). Due to the company's enthusiasm to popularize concrete technology, the surface of this material - in place of asphalt - gained 12.2 km of dual carriageway national road No. 8 Polichno-Wolbórz (Łódź Voivodeship).
