Rodrigues Public Utilities Corporation (RPUC)

The Rodrigues Public Utility Corporation has the mission of producing water and making it available to every citizen in Rodrigues. Incorporated on 18 June 2021 as a private company limited by shares and wholly owned by the Rodrigues Regional Assembly. Launched on the 22th July 2022 by the Chief Commissioner Mr. Johnson Roussety, GOSK who is also responsible for the Commission for Water Resources. The mission of RPUC is to improve the production, storage, treatment and distribution of water to all residents of Rodrigues. 

RPUC works toward empowerment of Rodriguans and has 13 University graduates in employment ; 4 administration cadre and 9 Trainee Engineer who are participating in the Trainee Engineer Scheme financed by the Ministry of Labour, Human Resources Development if training and the Rodrigues Regional Assembly / RPUC.
