Building homes, improving Lives!

Would you trade your home for a tin shack without electricity, water, or sanitation? Millions of people in African cities have no choice. They live in slums under inhumane conditions – without security, without prospects. We want to change that!

We are Housing! for Future, an initiative of the German housing industry with a dedicated team and extensive experience in social housing. Our goal: Affordable rental housing for people in Africa who currently live in slums. We focus on locally adapted construction methods that are affordable and future-proof.

Success Story: "Meine Heimat"

We have already proven that our concept works. In Otjomuise, a district of Windhoek, Namibia, we successfully completed the "Meine Heimat" (My Home) project in 2023. With community engagement, local workers, and our own team on-site, we have built 25 rental houses, offering many former slum residents a safe and dignified home.

Every single donation helped make this project a reality – and now we want to achieve even more!

Now We Need Your Help! Our next projects in Namibia are ready to launch, and we need your support to implement them. The cost of one house is €50,000 – a home that lifts an entire family out of poverty and gives them a future.
