Město Skuteč

The town of Skuteč is a member of the voluntary association of municipalities of the Pardubice Region called the Skutečsko - Ležáky Microregion and also the Local Action Groups of Skutečsko, Košumbersko and Chrastecko.

It is significant in the field of secondary education; the city is home to the Grammar School of the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta, founded by the Sovereign Order of the Knights of Malta - Czech Grand Priory in Prague.

Skuteč has been prominently represented in culture since 2003 with the annual festival of classical music and choral singing "Tomáš and Novák's Musical Skuteč", with an expanded offer in the field of musicals, operas, chamber music concerts and presentations of musical projects with the participation of foreign artists.
