Azpiegiturak, S.A.M.P.

A public company that projects, builds, maintains and manages business, social and sports infrastructures in Bizkaia.

Azpiegiturak, SAMP, a Sociedad Anónima Medio Propio whose owner is the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, was established on July 6, 2010 as a result of the merger of the provincial companies Azpiegitura, SAU, Bideak-Bizkaiko Bideak, SAU, Kirolgintzan SAU and Bizkailur, SAU.

As stated in the company's articles of incorporation, its corporate purpose is to design, construct, maintain, and operate—by itself, through third parties, or as a concessionaire, and on its own behalf or on behalf of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia—public infrastructure and equipment works of all kinds.

One of Azpiegiturak's functions is to carry out, either by itself or through third parties, the design, construction, equipment, and operation of social infrastructure for dependent elderly people, people with disabilities, and other disadvantaged groups.
