Mazowiecki Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich w Warszawie (MZDW)

Mazovian Voivodeship Roads Authority has existed since 1999. It was established after the country's administrative reform, as a result of which 49 provinces subordinate to the government administration were created, 16 new ones managed by local government authorities. Local governments are responsible for roads of regional and local importance. The activities of MZDW in Warsaw are supervised by the Board of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

The Board is responsible for maintaining provincial roads serving road traffic in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, and in particular: – preparing draft plans for the development of the road network and planning the financing of road construction, maintenance and protection;
