PORA The Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County is the legal successor of the Center for Entrepreneurship of Koprivnica-Križevci County. It is based on the Law on Institutions and the Decision of the County Assembly of Koprivnica-Križevci County. He has been enrolled in the Court Register of Commercial Court in Bjelovar and since 19 January 2007 he has been operating as a "PORA" Development Agency of Podravina and Prigorja for promotion and implementation of development activities in Koprivnica-Križevci County. 
Pursuant to the Act on Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia (Narodne novine,  Nos . 147/14 and  123/17.) The County Assembly of Koprivnica-Križevci County on its 7th session commenced on May 16th and on May 24, 2018, the Decision on Amendments to the Decision Establishing the "PORE" of the Podravina and Prigorje Development Agency for the Promotion and Implementation of Development Activities in Koprivnica-Križevci the county with the name "PORA" Development Agency Podravina and Prigorja for promotion and implementation of development activities in Koprivnica-Križevci County is changed to PORA Regional Development Agency Koprivnica-Križevci County.

In accordance with the Decision Establishing PORE Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County ("Official Gazette of Koprivnica-Križevci County", No. 8/97, 5/99,  2/04 ,  9/05 ,  11/06 ,  12/06 - Refined text,  12/09 ,  5/12 ,  6/12 - Clarified text,  8/13 ,  12/13 ,  5/14 ,  6/15 ,  7/18 . and  9/18 - purified text) and the PORE Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County ("Official Gazette of Koprivnica-Križevci County", no  . 2/07 ,  17/09.,  16/11 .,  8/12 .,  15/13 .,  7/14 .,  7/15 . and  11/18 .) regulates the scope and manner of the PORE Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County.

Based on the Ordinance on the Register of Regional Administrative Bodies of Local and Regional Self-Government Units, Agencies and Other Legal Persons Established with the Purpose of Effective Coordination and Promotion of Regional Development (Official Gazette  53/10 ) PORA Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County is a regional coordinator for the Koprivnica-Križevci County area in charge of coordinating regional development. Amendments to the Act on Regional Development (Official Gazette  147/14 and  123/17 ) PORA The Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County also carries out tasks of public authority as part of its activities.
