Kanan Society Development Association

Kanan Community Development Association is a non-profit charitable organization established on July 8, 2014, in the city of Jericho, under the Law of Charitable Associations and Civil Institutions No. (1) of 2000, with registration number JR-666-S. Based in Aqbat Jaber, the association aims to foster cultural and social exchange locally and internationally, particularly by engaging youth in extracurricular activities with children and other community members through workshops and meetings. Kanan is committed to working with all segments of society—especially marginalized groups—to build their capacities, promote non-violence, and raise awareness of democratic values, individual rights, and freedoms. Its programs focus on youth, women, children, and vulnerable populations, aiming to integrate them into various community development initiatives.
