As the founder of Little Stewards South Africa, I saw a huge gap in the society and I determined to close it. Little Stewarts was born to empower, educate, upskill children and the youth of South Africa, with knowledge , information and skills to feel supported and confident to face the world and avoid being vulnerable for predatitors to take advantage of them sexually.

I was a sexual abuse victim at the age of five years, in the hands of my trusted care giver. I did not have the courage to speak to anyone then and I am here to make sure that it does not happen to another child too.

There are not enough resources to support children with infomation to notice these signs of abuse and how to protect themselves, and feel confident enough to speak up before the trauma happens.

We all read the news and here how most of these rape victims are kids. The trauma left behind by this one incident can last a lifetime and its behind atleast 70% of suicide deaths globally.
