Haki Nawiri Afrika

Haki Nawiri Afrika is an initiative advancing human rights and social justice in Kenya. The organisation was registered in May 2020. Haki Nawiri Afrika operates through four pillars. Food Justice entails political and technical education on the entire food production process from soil, seeds, crop care, harvest and post-harvest.

Gender Justice Pillar addresses power relations, access and control of natural resources. Youth engagement works with young people to enable them to demand and defend their rights. Climate Justice entails simplification of the science of climate change, policy advocacy and documenting Frontline community  ( Fisherfolk, women, youth, pastoralists and Indigenous Peoples) experiences with the climate crisis.
