About
The Judicial Services, Training, and Institutions Capacity Enhancement (JuSTICE) Project is a multi-year initiative funded by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) with a total budget of EUR 4,000,000. Managed by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of Lao PDR and coordinated through a Project Management Unit (PMU) comprising MoJ staff, the project aims to strengthen the rule of law in Lao PDR by enhancing training and professional development for justice sector actors. Scheduled for completion in June 2026, the JuSTICE Project collaborates closely with key institutions, including the MoJ’s departments, the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor (OSPP), the People’s Supreme Court (PSC), the Lao Bar Association (LBA), and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE). Together, these entities work to improve access to justice, institutional capacity, and transparent judicial processes.
