Community Support for Agricultural and Livelihood Ventures in Sierra Leone (ComSAVE-SL) is a national non-governmental and non-profit organization dedicated to improving the livelihoods of vulnerable communities across Sierra Leone.

ComSAVE-SL works at the intersection of agriculture, food security, climate resilience, youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, WASH, and sustainable livelihoods, with a strong focus on community-driven and results-oriented development.

The organization is led by experienced development professionals with a proven track record of implementing projects in collaboration with government ministries, development partners, local authorities, and community structures.

A resilient and food-secure Sierra Leone where communities—especially women and youth—have sustainable livelihoods, climate-adaptive agricultural systems, and equitable access to basic services.

To support rural and peri-urban communities through inclusive, climate-smart agricultural development, livelihood diversification, capacity building, and access to essential services that promote sustainable economic growth and social well-being.

Women’s economic empowerment and VSLA support

3. Climate Change Adaptation and Environmental Sustainability

Ecosystem-based natural resource management

4. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

Addressing youth migration, drug abuse (kush), and vulnerability

Geographic Coverage

ComSAVE-SL operates across multiple districts in Sierra Leone, including Bo, Bonthe, Moyamba, Pujehun, Kenema, and Bombali, with plans to scale nationally through strategic partnerships.
