Established in 1986, the Swiss-based René and Susanne Braginsky Foundation provides financial support for projects in the following programmatic areas: care for the elderly and persons with disabilities, support and training for marginalised children and young people, support for hospitals or nursing homes, incl. infrastructure, support for leisure activities of children and young people, humanitarian and development aid, support for religious institutions and promotion of science and art. The Foundation’s geographic focus is Switzerland (with an emphasis on the region of Zurich) and Israel. However, grant funding is also provided to projects in other (developing) countries.
