Achmea Foundation

The Achmea Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the international Achmea insurance brand company. In alignment with Achmea (which has grown into a major financial services provider and health insurer, the Foundation advocates for an inclusive society, one in which everyone can participate. To this end, they work together with partners to come up with structural solutions. Through their grant making they support projects and programs in the following areas: healthcare; agriculture; and financial services. This approach has the overall aim to make a lasting difference for people in poor socio-economic circumstances. They have a strong focus on “Africa”, “innovation” and “impact”.
