Cargill provides food, agriculture, financial and industrial products and services worldwide. It provides corporate support to select national and global non-profit and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that serve communities in which they have a business presence. Their grants are directed within their focus areas of Food security and nutrition: They support partners working to address hunger, improve nutrition and increase agricultural productivity; Education: They support programs and projects that improve access to primary and secondary education for children; build skills in science, technology and engineering; and partnerships with higher education institutions in the areas of agriculture, food security and food safety; and Environmental stewardship: They partner with organisations that demonstrate global leadership in protecting natural resources and promote sustainable agricultural practices in the communities and supply chains.
