The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention protect the health of Ukrainians by preventing threats, responding to disease outbreaks, and responding to emergencies. Whatever the nature of these threats—infectious, noninfectious, chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear—the CDC monitors the situation to timely analyze the safety of the environment for the life and health of the population.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) applies modern scientific methods and best practices to research, predict, detect, and respond to disease outbreaks and emergencies. Together with partners, they disseminate knowledge and inform the population about healthy lifestyles, risks, and threats to health.
