Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS)

In 2003, Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) began a mission to improve animal welfare. It all started in a vet practice in a small village in Dorset in the UK, where Luke Gamble, our CEO and founder, started sending aid parcels abroad to charities in desperate need of support. In Luke's travels as a vet, he saw that all over the world millions of animals were lacking access to even the most basic level of veterinary care. WVS was created to change this.

At the heart of our mission is collaboration - ensuring charities around the world have the critical medical supplies and equipment they need to care for animals. This grew into deploying volunteer vets and veterinary professionals abroad to communities in desperate need of veterinary care. Our teams noticed the lack of access to quality training for veterinary professionals around the world and this developed into establishing high quality veterinary training courses to address the root cause of animals' lack of access to accessible and high-quality veterinary care. By providing accessible training, we can promote long-lasting improvements in animal welfare.
