About us 

Ndërmarrja Publike Banesore SH.A  (English: The Public Housing Enterprise  J.S.C) (PHE) is a joint stock company with 100% of the shares owned by the Municipality of Pristina. As such, it aims at proper management and preservation of its assets as well as the provision of efficient services of public interest. 

History

PHE was initially established as the Department of Building Maintenance in 1946, whose task was the preservation and maintenance of public property. Officially as the Housing Enterprise in Prishtina, it was founded in 1964. In 1976, it was transformed into the Self-Governing Community of Interest for Housing and Business Premises. While in 1989, the name was changed to Public Housing Enterprise. 

PHE has built several large urban projects in Prishtina including the oldest neighborhoods such as "Lakrishte," "Dardania," and "Kodra e Diellit."

The Public Housing Enterprise J.S.C. aims to become a symbol of organized and healthy living in Pristina, recognized as a model of excellence in providing services to the city’s residents, and to take the lead in developing a system that enables sustainable policies for the city and human activities.  

Mission

The Public Housing Enterprise J.S.C. is committed to being the leading company in the management of jointly owned buildings and in providing rapid construction and infrastructure interventions in public spaces throughout the Municipality of Pristina, operating 24/7. We aim to implement projects that revitalize Pristina’s urban neighborhoods in close cooperation with the Municipality of Pristina and residential property owners. Our mission also includes maintaining, managing, and leasing the assets owned by the Public Housing Enterprise J.S.C., as well as increasing the company’s value through high-rise construction projects in accordance with urban development plans. 

The scope of the PHE’s activity extends to: 

·         Construction of residential and non-residential buildings;

·         Renovation, administration and maintenance of buildings;

·         Leasing and management of self-owned or rented real estate;

·         Urgent road interventions, general construction, and production.
