North China Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Huayao Group) is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province. The predecessor of Huabei Pharmaceutical Factory was a key construction project during the “First Five-Year Plan” of China. It was started in June 1953 and was completed and put into operation in June 1958. It has created a history of large-scale production of antibiotics in China, for the development of human health and the national pharmaceutical industry. And made important contributions to changing the situation of lack of medical care in China. In 1992, Huabei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was reorganized and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 1994 (stock name: Huabei Pharmaceutical 600812). In January 1996, Huabei Pharmaceutical Factory was officially restructured into a wholly state-owned company, Huabei Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. In June 2009, with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government, Jizhong Energy Group implemented a restructuring of Huayao Group.
