Forty-seven years since its founding (1971-2018), Thanh Hoa Agriculture and Rural Development Corporation has grown steadily. Formerly known as Thanh Hoa Irrigation Construction Company; In 1978, the company was divided into two companies: Thanh Hoa Hydropower - Irrigation Construction Company for the construction of irrigation works in the country and Hydropower C Irrigation Construction Company specializing in the construction of water conservancy Lao friends. In 1990, Thanh Hoa Hydropower - Irrigation Construction Company was renamed as Irrigation Construction Company No.1; Irrigation Construction Company Hydropower has changed its name to Irrigation Construction Company 2. In 1997, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province decided to merge 3 units into one: Irrigation Construction Company No. 1, Irrigation Construction Company No. 2, Tho Xuan Irrigation Transport Enterprise, Thanh Hoa Agriculture and Rural Development Company.

In September 2002, the company was transformed from a state-owned enterprise into a joint stock company and changed its name to Thanh Hoa Rural Agriculture and Rural Development Company. In 2007, Thanh Hoa Agriculture and Rural Development Construction Company was upgraded to Thanh Hoa Agriculture and Rural Development Corporation (Scale: 3 independent accounting member companies, 1 northern branch 1 branch in the Central Highlands, 6 enterprises and 1 additonal factory to account in the Corporation.

       At present, the corporation has staff of 4 staffs, 101 engineers, 50 colleges and technical secondary schools, 600 technical workers, skilled and experienced in construction, There are many modern technical equipment, many products are of high quality. The corporation undertook construction of many irrigation projects, hydropower in and out of the province, civil works, bridges, roads, rural transport, labor export and import, infrastructure construction investors Le Mon Industrial Park.
