Sorathia Velji Ratna & Co. (VRS) was founded by Late Mr Sorathia Velji Ratna in the year 1974. The beginnings of works were at very small level with works of building overhead tanks, underground sumps, pump rooms, control rooms and admin offices. He has also worked overseas and completed one project in Kuwait in the year 1977.

Subsequently, company was entered in to various fields of infrastructures by Next Generation and expanded the business in various fields of Infrastructure and achieved the reputation of the company for its work in schedule time with quality assurance and ranging from construction of roads & highways with Flexible pavement and Rigid Pavements, Public health works, Earthen and concrete dams, Barrages, Canals, Flyovers, Building, etc.
