Sulzer Pumps Spain S.A.

Sulzer Pumps Spain S.A. is located in Burgos, 200 km north of Madrid, and has an expert know-how in the design and manufacturing of vertical pumps.

Typical applications for the pumps produced in Burgos are intake pumps for different applications for example the seawater intake pumps for desalination plants, all kind of cooling water and condensate extraction services in power-plants and pumps for pumping stations and irrigation plants.

Burgos also produces axially spilt horizontal pumps and acts as the packaging center for pumps produced in other Sulzer factories for the water market in the EMEA region.

The factory built in 1966 came to Sulzer as a result of the acquisition of Hidrotecar at the beginning of 2012. The localization in the north of Spain allows an easy and close access to an efficient supply chain, especially foundries and fabrication shops, which allows us to attend customer requirements in a flexible way and to supply high quality products.
