Studio ITALGB - Arquitetura e Engenharia

ITALGB is an architecture and engineering studio based in Guinea-Bissau, operating at the intersection of international development cooperation, technical design, and sustainable territorial development.
Its work focuses on delivering context-responsive technical solutions that generate social, environmental, and economic impact.

ITALGB supports international NGOs, development agencies, and public institutions through feasibility studies, preliminary, detailed and executive design, construction supervision, and technical assistance for development-oriented projects. Core areas of intervention include public and community buildings, water supply and WASH systems, climate-resilient infrastructure, and the valorisation of local materials and appropriate construction technologies in resource-constrained contexts.

The studio’s methodological approach is grounded in:

• integration of technical expertise with socio-territorial analysis;

• adaptation of design solutions to local climatic, cultural, and economic conditions;

• close collaboration with institutions, communities, and academic partners;
