Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance

The Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance was formed on July 1, 2003 as a partnership between Listowel Memorial Hospital and Wingham and District Hospital. As an Alliance, we share a common management structure with a single management team and one Mission, Vision & Values. There are still two separate corporations, however, the two Boards meet at the same time as a single Alliance Board. We look for opportunities to share services and programs across our two communities and find creative ways to link to our community partners.Our MissionThe Alliance strives for the best possible care for the people we serve.  We ensure that present and future generations have a wide range of safe, high quality hospital-based services available to them as close to home as possible.

The two sites of the Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance will be leaders in fully integrated, rural hospital-based health services.

Since 2004 the hospitals have operated under an umbrella alliance. These two rural hospitals - one located in Listowel, Ontario and the other in Wingham, Ontario have a combined executive team and Board yet have separate and distinct employee and labour relations groups.
