  The Uman Road Construction and Reconstruction Department ( now PJSC "Uman'Avtodor") was created as Uman Road Construction Department No. 48 by the order of the Managing Trust "VinnytsyaShlyakhbuhd" dated 23.10.1991 under No. 90. The day of construction of road construction management is November 1 1991 The department was created on the basis of the construction site of the Smilianskyi road-building department № 13 , which by the forces of this section began the reconstruction of the highway St. Petersburg-Kiev-Odessa. Since 1998, significant changes have been made in relation to the quality of construction and installation work. New approaches to managing the quality of work began to emerge, to the production of products attractive to the consumer.

In 1999, JSC Umanavtodor became a member of the Ukrainian Association of Quality and participated in the fifth Ukrainian national competition at the regional level.

  In order to achieve more significant results in the field of quality management, in 2000, JSC Umanavtodor began to develop a quality management system for highway construction on the basis of international standards of ISO series 9000 in the version (edited) in 2000.

  Total Quality Management Total Quality Management (abbreviated as TQM) considers employees not as mechanical executors of orders and instructions, but as creative active forces. Improvement is not just about the representatives of senior management, but the entire team. P JSC "Umanavtodor" provides full support to the initiative of employees and create the best conditions for its detection.
