GAFSP - Global Agricultural and Food Security Program

The Global Agriculture & Food Security Program (GAFSP) is a demand-led and recipient-owned global partnership and a cost-effectiveand flexible multilateral financing mechanism dedicated to fighting hunger, malnutrition and poverty in developing countries. In line with Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG2), GAFSP supports resilient and sustainable agriculture that benefits and empowers poor and vulnerable smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth.

GAFSP pools development assistance resources and uses a common framework to selectively allocate them to where they are most needed, effective and catalytic, in line with country priorities and private sector opportunities.
