About

As England’s largest new native broadleaf forest, the Heart of England Forest is a registered charity set up to create a 30,000 acre native broadleaf forest for people and for wildlife. The Forest stretches along the Warwickshire/Worcestershire border from south Birmingham, across the Ancient Forests of Arden and Feckenham, to the north Cotswolds. The vision is to plant, protect and preserve a native broadleaf forest – a place of tranquillity and natural beauty that is open to anyone and planted with the help and support of everyone. This national asset provides a lung for the Midlands, and the mosaic of traditional forest habitats aims to increase biodiversity and provide light airy glades and shady canopies for health and relaxation.
