FPS - Femmes Prevoyantes Socialistes

A feminist, progressive, secular and mutualist association, the FPS is part of the associative network of the Solidaris Mutual Fund.

The birth of the FPS has its origin in the history of Socialist Mutuality. The SPFs arose in 1922 from the need to create mutual aid funds for women workers, women workers and their children. These funds were managed autonomously by socialist activists and based on the principle of solidarity and foresight. SPFs and Solidaris share common values of solidarity, commitment, closeness and respect.

On a daily basis, we campaign and take action to promote equality between women and men and to reduce inequalities in health.
Bringing together 9 regional and more than 200 local groups, the FPS organize many lifelong education activities throughout the territory of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Our regional teams carry out numerous hours of animation and training every year for an adult audience.
