ACCIONA has communicated to the CNMV the Business Combination and Share Purchase Agreement (BCA) entered into by ACCIONA and Nordex (“Nx”) regarding the acquisition of Corporación ACCIONA Windpower (“AWP”) by Nordex and the simultaneous purchase of shares by which ACCIONA reaches a 29.9% strategic stake in Nordex. Nordex and Acciona Windpower have combined their activities to lay a robust foundation for future profitable growth.

Nordex and Acciona Windpower combine decades of experience in designing, constructing and operating wind turbines, delivering more than 18 GW of sustainable energy worldwide.

Few technologies have made so much progress in recent years as in the use of wind energy, and Nordex is one of the fathers of this development. After all, since 1985 we have been setting standards with the development for readiness for series production of ever larger and thus more economical turbines.
