KEFI MINERALS PLC

KEFI Minerals plc is a mining exploration and development company focused on gold and copper deposits in the highly prospective Arabian-Nubian Shield – similar to the Precambrian Shields of Australia and Canada, but under-explored. Its two most advanced projects are Tulu Kapi in Ethiopia and Jibal Qutman in Saudi Arabia – with an attributable 1.93Moz Au – and KEFI is on track to be in production at Tulu Kapi in 2017. In addition to its two most advanced projects, KEFI has an exploration portfolio of over 1,550km2 in the Arabian-Nubian Shield. In particular, at the Hawiah prospect, in Saudi Arabia, initial testing suggests a significant copper-gold-zinc VHMS deposit, and strong geophysical targets will soon be drilled. In Ethiopia, KEFI operates through its wholly-owned subsidiary, KEFI Minerals (Ethiopia) Ltd. In Saudi Arabia, KEFI formed a joint venture company, Gold & Minerals Ltd, alongside local partner Abdul Rahman Saad Al-Rashid & Sons Company Ltd. KEFI has a 40% interest in the JV and is the operating partner.
