ASEBIO - Asociación Española de Bioempresas

In the Spanish Association of Biocompanies, ASEBIO, we group and represent the interests of companies, associations, foundations, universities, technological centers and research that develop activities in the field of biotechnology in Spain.

We have been working, since 1999, to achieve positive changes in politics and the economy that favor and promote the development of the Spanish biotechnology sector. To this end, ASEBIO collaborates closely with regional, national and European administrations, as well as with all those social organizations committed to the use of biotechnology to improve the quality of life of citizens, environmental sustainability , economic development and the generation of qualified employment.

For ASEBIO cooperation and networking is a priority. That is why we are members of EuropaBio , the European Association for Bioindustry, of which we are part of almost a hundred business organizations and which, together, represent the interests of more than 1,800 European companies. ASEBIO is also a member of the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations) and we collaborate with several scientific and medical societies, such as the Spanish Society of Biotechnology (SEBiot), the Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM), the Spanish Federation of Diseases Neuromusculares - ASEM, the Spanish Foundation of Hematology and Hemotherapy (FEHH), the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM) or the Spanish Society of Neuroscience (SENC).
