Shiva Foundation

Shiva Foundation is a charity founded by UK-based hotel group, Shiva Hotels. The foundation leverages the diversity of experience among its directors - across the business, professional corporate, charity and governance sectors - to make a positive social impact using a holistic model of change.

The foundation seeks to question traditional forms of charity by creating a model that works to make systemic change at the each level of influence (individuals, organisations and governments). In this way, it not only upholds human rights but works to create lasting change. At the moment, the foundation focuses, in particular, on engaging leaders across business, government and education on the issue of human trafficking and supports them to use their influence, resources and skills to make a positive difference.
