ARM (former Ardan)
Details
About
In 2007 R20 acquired Ardan Consulting in Kurdistan. Following the takeover, Ardan grew exponentially and dominated the security market in Kurdistan. In 2010 Ardan expanded operations into Southern Iraq through an Iraqi JV operating as Berjisiya Gate Services (BGS). BGS successfully established a significant security operation, at one time providing security for 13
rig sites in the Rumaillah Oilfield. It also established a 170 man oil and gas camp and facility to accommodate oil and
gas supply companies.
In 2011 Ardan was asked by the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) to improve the security and flow of traffic into Irbil.
Ardan solved this by establishing a pay per scan cargo scanning solution which, by satisfying all stakeholders including external shareholders, has been highly successful and project expansion is in process. Other projects in KRG involve providing technical solutions to the oil and gas sector in the field of waste management.
In 2015 the company was rebranded to ARM (Ardan Risk Management). ARM opened an office in Myanmar to deliver risk management services and technology to international companies considering market entry. ARM is also leveraging its project management experience to provide a tunnel for successful investment in water, power, scanning, waste and logistics projects
in the countries it understands.
