About
Toplički Center for Democracy and Human Rights, founded in 2000. in Prokuplje. The organization was created in response to the accumulated social problems resulting from decades of lack of political and economic freedom.Mission Topličkog Center for Democracy and Human Rights: the promotion of civic values and democratic society based on a market economy and the rule of law, the promotion, protection and advancement of human rights and the improvement of life in local communities.
Activities Topličkog Centre for Democracy and Human Rights aimed at: promoting democratic values, support policy reform, strengthening democratic institutions, protection and promotion of human rights and freedoms, increasing the level of civic activism , encouraging proactive youth policy and support local economic development. Given the importance of civic activism to build a democratic society based on the highest ethical principles and values, T oplički Center for Democracy and Human Rights adopted a Code of Ethics.
In previous work, Toplički Center for Human Rights and demokrtiju independently and in cooperation with partner NGOs and institutions developed more than 40 projects. Building partenrskih relationships with representatives of other sectors formalized with the signing of the Protocol of Cooperation with municipalities Rovinj, Kursumlija and Blace , Regional Chamber of Commerce , the District Court in Prokuplje and the Memorandum of Understanding with the Office for European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Toplički Center for Democracy and Human law has very good cooperation with the electronic and print media.
