The foundation of Özdoğan Construction was laid by Mr. Rıza ÖZDOĞAN in 1966 with the “Fethiye – Ören Irrigation Tunnel Construction” under the 2nd Regional Directorate of the State Hydraulic Works. As a result of the successes shown in the sector, the need to return to a corporate structure arose and Özdoğan Construction Industry and Trade Ltd. Co. was established in 1981 by the Özdoğan Brothers in order to combine this experience and knowledge under one company roof.

Since its establishment, it has been constantly renewing itself, with its researcher, expert and dynamic staff, experienced field team and constantly following the latest technology, it has taken on a leading role in the Turkish construction sector with its works carried out both domestically and abroad in sectors such as construction, road, dam, decoupage, tunnel, irrigation and all kinds of infrastructure construction.

Özdoğan Company, which specializes in the removal of coal top layer and mining, has become the largest company in Turkey in this field by carrying out more than 600 million m3 and 900,000,000.00 USD worth of decoupage work.

The company still maintains its title by successfully continuing the experience it has gained in this field.

In order to meet the increasing business volume over time and to serve the developing sector needs, Özkar İnşaat Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. was established in 1987.

Since the day it was founded, it has been operating both domestically and internationally in sectors such as construction, road, dam, decoupage, tunnel, irrigation and all kinds of infrastructure construction, with its constantly renewing, researcher, expert and dynamic staff, experienced field team and the latest technology it constantly follows, and has assumed a leading role in the Turkish construction sector with its works.

Özkar Construction has undertaken the construction of Çine Dam, the highest RCC dam in Europe and the 5th highest RCC dam in the world, by using RCC (Roller Compacted Concrete) technology for the first time in Turkey. Özkar Construction, which aims to spread its experiences gained in Turkey to the international construction market, has accelerated its searches actively, especially in North Africa and the Gulf region. In this context, a company named "Özkar Construction Company LLC" was established in Oman and has taken an active role in contributing to the increasing infrastructure needs in the region.
