We have assisted the Afghanistan government since 2002 by providing supply chain, consultancy and capacity building services through donors such as the World Bank, DFID and the United Nations. Our advisory team in Kabul has provided support on all aspects of procurement from planning to on-the-job training, mentoring and tailored training sessions. We have placed contracts that will lead to improved communications, power and water supplies for large areas of western Afghanistan.

We have worked with the Ministry of Finance to install a Commonwealth Secretariat's Debt Recording and Management System and trained staff in its use. We have provided procurement, support and logistics to British counter-narcotics programmes and inspected goods for child health, drinking water sanitation and anti-polio programmes.
