İzmir Ümran Baradan Oyun ve Oyuncak Müzesi

Umran Baradan Game and Toy Museum (Izmir Toy Museum) is a "boutique museum" operated by Konak Municipality. The toy museum, which has examples like Nuremberg in Germany, London in England, Poissy in France, Milano in Italy, Washington in Japan and Washington in USA, is the first toy museum in Turkey, founded in 1990 by Izmir archaeologist Musa Baran, Bademler Village Children's Games and Toys Museum and Prof. Dr. Bekir Onur was founded in 2005 by the poet and writer Sunay Akın in Istanbul after the Educational Sciences Faculty Toy Museum opened in Ankara University. Umran Baradan Game and Toy Museum constitutes the third example in its field and it was realized with the contribution of Sunay Akin and the donations of various people to the toys collected by the ceramic artist Umran Baradan of Izmir from various countries of the world.
